Islam and Christianity

   Religion is a principle of trust to God that has to be had by everyone. Everyone  can know their self and their God by having religion and they also know their rights and obligations as the creatures that were created by God. We know many religions in Indonesia, they are Islam, Christianity, Hindu, Budha, and Kong Hu Cu. Now, we are going to know about the similarities and the differences between Islam and Christianity.

     Basically, all of religions are same. They ask for doing goodness and prohibit for doing badness. Islam and Christianity have some similarities, in Al-Qur’an was told about all of prophets from Adam to Muhammad and in Christian’s holy book also told that. Islam  and Christianity believe that take a pray can reduce their sins. Both said that Maryam, Isa’s mother, is a sacred woman.

     There are some differences of them. Muslims take a pray in Mosque but Christian in Church. Muslim’s God is Allah and Christian’s God is Yesus. They also have difference in holy book, Muslim use Al-Qur’an, Christian use Bible. Muslim’s big days are Muharram, Asyura, Maulud Nabi, Isra’ Mi’raj, Nuzulul Qur’an, Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, and Hijriah New Year. Whilst, Christian’s big days are Natal, Jumat Agung, Paskah, Kenaikan Isa Al-Masih, and Pantekosta.

     In conclusion, all religions are good because they ask for the goodness. Islam is the truest religion because Allah said that in Al-Qur’an. In my mind, Islam extremely is a true religion because Islam never disturbs the peace of other people or other religion. It always asks to respect to other religion.

How to Operate Computer

This is globalization era, where people use technology for doing everything in their life. The most important thing nowadays is Computer. Computer can help our job, but some people are still confused about operating computer. Computer is needed by all of people especially for students. Computer has many designs now, but generally it looks like a box with monitor and also it has CPU to support it for processing. Here I will try to explain about some programs.

For turning on the computer, you have to push the power button on the CPU, then push the power button on monitor and wait for a while till the process is finish. You should follow this way in order to your computer does not be hang quickly.

Microsoft word is an essential tool for the creation of documents. We use this program for typing, checking the grammar, etc. in this program there are many options that help like center, align text left, align text right, style of letter, and the color of the writing.

Internet is an important thing that help the students to finish their assignments and to get information about that. When you want to find the information, you can click internet mozilla firefox, then type the website for example www.google.com and you have to type what thing that you are looking for. Next, the information will be found and you can move it into Microsoft word. Finally, you need to edit some sentences and print it. For printing you can press the control switch + P on your keyboard, then choose the slices and click OK.

After use the computer, you need to turn it off and for doing that you should follow the procedure. That is click START and choose turn off computer. Wait for a few minutes till it is off. Finally, push the power button on the monitor.

In conclusion, computer has helped many activities of people, but now computer still has many deficiencies. I hope computer can help every activity, for example it can help us for typing only by showing our handwriting, can count every rate that we type without formula, and it can be off automatically after we used.

My Campus in the Future

     Campus is an initial step of career of students. Students study and find their skills from the campus. I am a student of English Department at Padang State University (UNP) now. My campus is one of the best campus in Indonesia. It has many students that study in foreign country, and it also has many alumni that success with their business.

     Nowadays, Padang State University (UNP) is an emergency campus, because of the earthquake that happened on 30^th September, 2009. My campus has enough facilities to support the studying process. It has many talented lecturers. This campus is a big campus, it has many faculties. It also has made many students go to America for working.

     In my mind, UNP has not been the beautiful place yet.  I always imagine that in the future my campus will be the good campus, with many gardens in every faculty. There are many chairs in the garden, and with the fresh air. So, many students who get bored with the lesson or with their lecturer can be refreshing there. I want UNP has many busses for picking up, and escort for everyday.

     I also want UNP has a modern library that use the online system. Then, UNP has the modern hall, modern class, and modern technology for studying. We hope UNP will invite many notice speakers in order to we can practice directly with them. We also want to share about our culture.

     UNP will be the modern campus if it is build by the architect from foreign country.  And UNP can be better if the students make the assignment from internet. The rector should buy many facilities again for complete the class.

My Idol is My Supporter

     Everyone has an idol in their life. Idol gives many effects to our life. We will be good if our idol is good and we will be bad if our idol is a bad person. Idols also can give motivation for their fans because the fans will work hard for being like them.

     My idol is ustadz Jefri Al- Buqhari. I like him because he has given many motivations in my life. I get many lessons from him like the way for going out from the drugs addiction. He was a bad man in the past and he also had the bad attitude. He used to work hard to go out from this problem, but he could not. His life was messy and then he got a light that lead him to go out. He got that guidance after his father passed away.

     He has a harmonious family. He has a beautiful wife and she is pious. He is a good father because he always teaches his children how to respect their parents and how to be a good muslim.  His wife is a patience woman in reminding him about religion. She is also the main motivator who has made him could go out from the drugs.

     He is also a good ustadz because he always gives many powers for people to face their problem and pray to get the solution from it all. He has the young soul, he knows everything about teenager’s problem and he always gives the best solutions for everyone. He is called “ Ustadz Gaul “ because he understands what  the teenagers want and he answers the questions by the heart based on what his experience in the past.

     So, even though it is a big problem, it will be resolved if we work hard for solving it. "Impossible is Nothing," and God ever said,“ I am not going to change the fate of my slave unless she/he is going to change their own”. Do the best for yourself in order to be a better.

MY SELF

     My life could not be continued without my self, because I am the main player for doing the best. I should do the best to get the best. My name is Anisa Nurjanah. My parents found that name in Al-qur’an. It means a girl who will be the light for the Paradise. My parents have a big hope of myself. They want me to be a good muslim. I am from Pariaman, but now I live in Padang on 4^th Hamka Street. I am a student at Padang state University now. I was born in Padang on 30^th august ,1992.

    I am a complicated person. I always want to be perfect even though I can not, but I have a great family. My father is a good father and my mother is a care Mom. I cried when I went to Padang for studying. I felt Padang is very far from my hometown. I am not a spoiled child, but I felt very hard to leave my Mom. I love her so much; I will do everything for her. My family is a big supporter for me. I want to make them proud of me.

     I have many characteristic. I am a talkative girl, friendly, easy going and hard worker, but I also have bad temper and easy to be angry. I can be a sensitive girl sometimes. I feel very sad when someone angry to me. I love studying and  like the care teacher. I can understand if my teacher explains the lesson by smile and love.

     I have been a student in many the best schools. I did not graduate from kindergarten because my family moved to Pariaman before I graduated. In Pariaman I went to school at SDN 24 sintuk Pariaman. when I was in elementary school , I always got the first rank in my class. And I graduated by the best score in my school. Then, I continued my study at Islamic Junior High School, and I also get the good score. I was being the second rank of my school when I graduated. Next I went to school at economic high school, I took Office Administration. In that time I also got the second rank of my school when I graduated. I am studying at English department now. I hope I can get the achievement like in the past again.

     I have many achievements, but those means nothing if I do not do the best for my self. I want to graduate from my college soon. I want to make my family proud of me because I will give the best education for my brother and sister. I am going to make my father’s responsibility become easier. It means I want my father stop working and enjoy his life.

The Effects of Drugs

A drugs is a medicine that can make the users become addicted of it. The users will want to try and try it again and very difficult to stop it. In the past, the doctors used this medicine as sedative medicine and painkillers in a certain dose. Nowadays, a drugs is used in the wrong use and in the wrong way , not only the adult people consumes it wrongly but also the teenagers.

A drugs has many negative effects. It can damage our health in physical, emotion, and in attitudes. A drugs effects for the physical condition: user’s eyes will be concave, their face will be pale, their lips will be black, they can’t take a poop currently, and they will get stomachache without the cause.

Drug also influential with emotion. Someone who consumes drug will be sensitive, easier become angry, and they will lose their appetite. The effects for  the attitude: they will be lazy, they will get headache, they will like doing theft, and they love being alone.

It can be concluded that  a drugs is a dangerous medicine. It is the reason why the government works hard to stop this drug. The young generations have to keep them self from that drug, and we also have to try to remind our friends to be more careful. It has the bad effects for the body, health, and for the future. So, say no to drug! If you want to have a good future.

The Holiday of Muslim

     One of the holidays of Muslim is called Lebaran’s day. It is celebrated on 1^st Syawal. That day is the day when everyone forgives everybody who has made the mistakes to her/him. In Lebaran’s day we can meet with our big family, and we can laugh together. In that time we also get some money from our family, it is named “THR”. Everyone feels happy in that moment, because they can buy the new clothes. Before we celebrate that day, we should give some money to the poor, it is called ”zakat fitrah”.

     In Pariaman, Lebaran’s day is celebrated for one week. From 1^st-7^th Syawal Pariaman makes the beach party. There is a unique game, it is “Boyan Kaliang”. The Beach party is a big party complete with many attractions. Those attractions are very interesting, many tourists come there to take the best photos.

     In the previous Lebaran’s day, I felt happy because I got a prize from my parents. They gave me a new motorcycle. I did not know what the causes. Actually, my father said that I got it because I have shown to them that I am a diligent student, and I got the second rank in my school when I was graduated  from Senior High School. My parents were very proud of me, but they did not show it. Two month after that I was received as an English student in Padang State University. They said to me not to be boasted with my achievement because it could make me fall in the future.

     I always keep what my parents said in my mind. That was the best lebaran’s day in my life. In Lebaran’s day everyone feel happy because that day is the day when the Muslims get the wining and  freedom of the fast.

MY BELOVED FAMILY

Family is everything in my life. I have a big family. My grandparents have eleven children and my parents have five children. They love us a lot and always give what I want. People who  are the most important for me are my father, my mother, my grandmother, my sister, and my brothers.  I have one sister and three brothers. I am the oldest child in my family. I want to handle my family in the future; and for getting it I have to study hard. They always give me support in everything.

My father is a good daddy. He always gives support to his children. I always share with him and he always has the best suggestion for my problem. He is very nice and kind to my friend. So, my friend feels comfortable  for sharing with him. My father is a handsome man and he has pointed nose.

My mother is the first person who important in my life. She is the best Mom in the world. She loves shopping a lot, she likes buying accessories, clothes, and shoes. my mother is 40 years old, but she is still young and looks like my sister. She is very great Mom.  My boyfriend likes talking with her because she has the young soul. I am proud with her, she always gives me the best support to continue my study anywhere that I want. She always smile, even though she does not have money. She is also the good manager in my family, she is good in managing money, time, her children education, and she is good at everything.

I love my grandmother. She is 80 years old, very old as a woman. She is very great grandmother and my mother is proud has a mother like her. My grandmother never leave to take a pray and she always pray for my success. She wants me to be a doctor In the future, but I do not like it. I like learning about language very much. Even though I did not do what she wants, she always gives me support for getting my future. She also has the young soul, I can share everything with her.

My brothers and my sister are also the most important person in my life. They always give me inspiration, spirit, and support. I study hard for giving them the best education. They always can make me laugh when I was confused, or bored. They are my soul.

My family has important role in my life. I love them more than myself and I hope it can be forever. I think everyone has the same feeling with me.
