A good novel

Dear the readers…..
Today, I am reading a novel…. And it hasn’t finished yet….
At the first time I read this novel, it wasn’t really interesting… actually I didn’t want to continue reading because it is about the love story that I always read in so many novels, and I thought that the writer wasn’t creative enough….
But, I remembered what my friend said,,,,,”you have to read this novel if you want to cry….!”
I want to know the next story, the part where I can cry…. So, I decided to continue reading this story….
Now, I have read till the middle page and I am interested to finish this novel…. It’s a good novel I think, the writer can make the readers come to the story, feel what the actor feel.
I was wrong in judging this novel…. I have to suggest you to read this,”DIA TANPA AKU”.
Pretty good,,,,, great language…..
Very very very gooooooood………..

my sister's weeding party

Dear the readers……
Yesterday was my sister’s wedding party…, I was very happy….
Congratulation my sister…! I hope the best for you…. ^_^.
Every member of my family attended that great moment. We met and shared everything,,,, I saw my daddy’s face was very shining. I didn’t know why, but I thought it was because he was meeting me…. Hahhahah over confident ….
My sisters and brothers invited their friend and so did I,,,,
Their friends came, gave a gift and said congratulation to the bride...
So many guests came to the party,,,, but I was very disappointed…. There were no members of my class that came to my sister’s party….
Now, I have to prejudice either…..
Maybe they had some important business…. Yes, I hope…
Or maybe they forgot….
Okay, forget it, I don’t want to remember it anymore…..
When the party almost finished,,,, I went back to my uncle’s house…. Ups I forget to say,,,, I am living in my uncle’s house now…. Because my father didn’t permit me to live in boarding house…. Ooooowwwh, how poor I am…. !!!! ^_^
Huh, back to my story before…..
I took a public transportation to go to Air Tawar…. I had to go to Air Tawar because I had so many homework to do…..
I leave the party earlier….. I was sad, but I had to….
To get my best future….

PRAGMATICS

Pragmatics is a subfield of linguistics which studies the ways in which context contributes to meaning. Pragmatics encompasses speech act theory, conversational implicature, talk in interaction and other approaches to language behavior in philosophy, sociology, and linguistics.[1] It studies how the transmission of meaning depends not only on the linguistic knowledge (e.g. grammar, lexicon etc.) of the speaker and listener, but also on the context of the utterance, knowledge about the status of those involved, the inferred intent of the speaker, and so on.[2] In this respect, pragmatics explains how language users are able to overcome apparent ambiguity, since meaning relies on the manner, place, time etc. of an utterance.[1] The ability to understand another speaker's intended meaning is called pragmatic competence. So an utterance describing pragmatic function is described as metapragmatic. Pragmatic awareness is regarded as one of the most challenging aspects of language learning, and, though it can be taught, often comes only through experience.
Pragmatics in philosophy
Pragmatics (more specifically, Speech Act Theory's notion of the performative) underpins Judith Butler's theory of gender performativity. In Gender Trouble, she claims that gender and sex are not natural categories, but socially constructed roles produced by "reiterative acting."
In Excitable Speech she extends her theory of performativity to hate speech and censorship, arguing that censorship necessarily strengthens any discourse it tries to suppress and therefore, since the state has sole power to define hate speech legally, it is the state that makes hate speech performative.
Jaques Derrida remarked that some work done under Pragmatics aligned well with the program he outlined in his book Of Grammatology.
Émile Benveniste argued that the pronouns "I" and "you" are fundamentally distinct from other pronouns because of their role in creating the subject.
Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari discuss linguistic pragmatics in the fourth chapter of A Thousand Plateaus ("November 20, 1923--Postulates of Linguistics"). They draw three conclusions from Austin: (1) A performative utterance does not communicate information about an act second-hand—it is the act; (2) Every aspect of language ("semantics, syntactics, or even phonematics") functionally interacts with pragmatics; (3) There is no distinction between language and speech. This last conclusion attempts to refute Saussure's division between langue and parole and Chomsky's distinction between surface structure and deep structure simultaneously.

SEMANTIC

Semantics (from Greek sēmantiká, neuter plural of sēmantikós)[1][2] is the study of meaning. It focuses on the relation between signifiers, such as words, phrases, signs and symbols, and what they stand for, their denotata.
Linguistic semantics is the study of meaning that is used to understand human expression through language. Other forms of semantics include the semantics of programming languages, formal logics, and semiotics.
The word "semantics" itself denotes a range of ideas, from the popular to the highly technical. It is often used in ordinary language to denote a problem of understanding that comes down to word selection or connotation. This problem of understanding has been the subject of many formal inquiries, over a long period of time, most notably in the field of formal semantics. In linguistics, it is the study of interpretation of signs or symbols as used by agents or communities within particular circumstances and contexts.[3] Within this view, sounds, facial expressions, body language, and proxemics have semantic (meaningful) content, and each has several branches of study. In written language, such things as paragraph structure and punctuation have semantic content; in other forms of language, there is other semantic content.[3]
The formal study of semantics intersects with many other fields of inquiry, including lexicology, syntax, pragmatics, etymology and others, although semantics is a well-defined field in its own right, often with synthetic properties.[4] In philosophy of language, semantics and reference are closely connected. Further related fields include philology, communication, and semiotics. The formal study of semantics is therefore complex.
Semantics contrasts with syntax, the study of the combinatorics of units of a language (without reference to their meaning), and pragmatics, the study of the relationships between the symbols of a language, their meaning, and the users of the language.[5]
Linguistics
In linguistics, semantics is the subfield that is devoted to the study of meaning, as inherent at the levels of words, phrases, sentences, and larger units of discourse (referred to as texts). The basic area of study is the meaning of signs, and the study of relations between different linguistic units and compounds: homonymy, synonymy, antonymy, hypernymy, hyponymy, meronymy, metonymy, holonymy, paronyms. A key concern is how meaning attaches to larger chunks of text, possibly as a result of the composition from smaller units of meaning. Traditionally, semantics has included the study of sense and denotative reference, truth conditions, argument structure, thematic roles, discourse analysis, and the linkage of all of these to syntax.

Islam and Christianity

Religion is a principle of trust to God that has to be had by everyone. Everyone  can know their self and their God by having religion and they also know their rights and obligations as the creatures that were created by God. We know many religions in Indonesia, they are Islam, Christianity, Hindu, Budha, and Kong Hu Cu. Now, we are going to know about the similarities and the differences between Islam and Christianity.

Basically, all of religions are same. They ask for doing goodness and prohibit for doing badness. Islam and Christianity have some similarities, in Al-Qur’an was told about all of prophets from Adam to Muhammad and in Christian’s holy book also told that. Islam  and Christianity believe that take a pray can reduce their sins. Both said that Maryam, Isa’s mother, is a sacred woman.

There are some differences of them. Muslims take a pray in Mosque but Christian in Church. Muslim’s God is Allah and Christian’s God is Yesus. They also have difference in holy book, Muslim use Al-Qur’an, Christian use Bible. Muslim’s big days are Muharram, Asyura, Maulud Nabi, Isra’ Mi’raj, Nuzulul Qur’an, Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, and Hijriah New Year. Whilst, Christian’s big days are Natal, Jumat Agung, Paskah, Kenaikan Isa Al-Masih, and Pantekosta.

In conclusion, all religions are good because they ask for the goodness. Islam is the truest religion because Allah said that in Al-Qur’an. In my mind, Islam extremely is a true religion because Islam never disturbs the peace of other people or other religion. It always asks to respect to other religion.
